Elgol, Isle of Skye, Scotland
One of the most stunning landscapes I've seen in the UK, if not anywhere. It has to be seen in reality to appreciate the real drama, I'm yet to see a photo which does it justice.
Harris, Outer Hebrides, Scotland
The weather on the Outer Hebrides didn't quite match the classic sun kissed white sandy beach classics I've seen pretty much everywhere. But this photo sums up my overall impression of the string of islands - a feeling of remoteness, long roads and isolated dwellings. At least this one was handy for the phone box!
Stack Pollaidh, Sutherland, Scotland
Stack Pollaidh isn't a high mountain, but nonetheless a dramatic peak. The main top isn't easy to access, but there is a good path from the road which winds around the back of the mountain and up to the ridge.
